Do I need special hardware or router access? ▾

No. NetUriel runs on any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer already connected to your network. No router access, no extra hardware, no configuration of network settings.

Can devices bypass NetUriel by using mobile data? ▾

Yes — if a device switches to mobile data it leaves your WiFi network and NetUriel can't reach it. NetUriel controls what happens on your network, not what happens off it. For phones, this is a limitation of all network-based solutions.

Does it work on WiFi and wired connections? ▾

Yes. NetUriel works on any network interface — WiFi, Ethernet, or both simultaneously. As long as the devices you want to manage are on the same network, it works.

What happens when my subscription expires? ▾

You get a 7-day grace period with full functionality. After that, content filtering and device blocking are paused — the dashboard stays accessible so you can renew. Your settings and device data are never deleted.

Do I need to create an account? ▾

No account needed. After purchase, you receive a license key by email. Enter the key into NetUriel on first launch and it activates immediately. We don't store personal information.

Can it really detect VPNs and Tor? ▾

Yes. NetUriel uses deep packet inspection to identify VPN traffic signatures (WireGuard, OpenVPN, SOCKS5, Tor) and also blocks known VPN provider domains and IP ranges. It's not foolproof against every configuration, but it catches the vast majority of bypass attempts.

Is the AI content detection accurate? ▾

The AI uses a four-layer system: URL pattern analysis, hash matching, neural network (NudeNet), and pixel heuristics. Combined, this catches content that domain blocklists miss, like newly registered sites or embedded images on otherwise clean pages. False positives are rare.

Can I move my license to a different machine? ▾

Yes. Deactivate the license from the Settings tab in NetUriel, then enter the same key on your new machine. One active installation per license at a time.
